Captive Panther chameleon

The Panther chameleon is often kept as a pet. It is currently in common status, but scientists say it may fall to a lesser population. Many people and experts say it is not a good idea to keep a chameleon as a pet. It isn't adapted to live in populated areas and lives longer in the wild.
