The island of Madagascar
The Panther chameleon lives in the eastern and northern parts of Madagascar. It claims its home in the tropical trees and bushes that live on the island. In their habitat they like to climb trees and bask in the sun. They live in a very humid place. They spend their time hunting in the trees and looking for still water. Humans can change the habitat of the Panther chameleon. Chameleons are popular pets in America. They try to replicate their natural habitat by putting leaves and branches in the cages. Many other chameleons share the island of Madagascar with the Panther chameleon such as the Pygmy Leaf chameleon and the Parson's chameleon. Overall the Panther chameleon's main habitat is the jungles of Madagascar.
